BANK SOALAN PERALIHAN

According to Abu Bakr Nordin (2013), “the education system in Malaysia is mostly outdated in comparison to current global changes in a manner that outmoded pedagogical practices have been used to educate students in school”.In the aspect of Malaysian classroom and language curriculum, modules are the best practice for examination. Modules in the Malaysian classrooms remains structural and students are always exposed to traditional learning as in depending only on English textbooks(Zainol,2011).

As a result, In Malaysian Form 1 classrooms majority of Form 1 students learn writing through writing material which is mostly focused on Form 1 English textbooks either CEFR PULSE or KBSR textbook and the focus of learning writing is to fulfil the exam requirements. (Koo Lie Yie Lee,2012). Researchers have reported that exam oriented learning materials may also be responsible for many Malaysian form 1 students to all opt for modules (Nasrin,2012).

Remove students or known as Pelajar Peralihan are mostly weak or slow learners and they really need the teachers to be up front and scaffold them step by step. However, during this MCO, we are unable to do so but we are still giving our best to educate our learners.

As an English teacher who experienced teaching these students would love to offer a hand in easing the burden of the teachers by providing some help interms of worksheets and many more.
