Additionally CLIL changes the environment from being more of teacher centered to student centered as CLIL language teaching can enhance ‘scaffolding’ among students (Mehisto 2003). It creates a more personal involvement in language learning since through effective interaction and collaboration a good scaffolding is build and empowers learners to become more active in determining their learning outcomes. Concisely, student-centeredness also helps to create a more ‘blended learning’ atmosphere since teachers can depend on textbook materials as well apply the intervention of multimedia like visual diagrams into their teaching approaches. Research which illustrates that students responded enthusiastically to the course and demonstrated positive attitudes towards the student-centered learning environment.
