DLP WORKSHEETS PRIMARY/SECONDARY

The Scientific Inquiry Model has a lot of benefits in generating meaningful and effective learning in the classroom. Firstly, students have the opportunity to make decisions and acquire concepts. Learning through this model always caters learners ample chances to make firsthand decisions and construct concepts based on their decisions. They can decide which questions to raise at various points, which ones to follow in depth and why, what science tools to use for various tasks, how to organize data, how to portray the patterns created by the data, and what conclusions to accept or reject as they work.’ Hence, this model polish students decision making skills as well as guides them to construct concepts based on their own decisions. Last benefit is that this model allows students to learn a science information in multiple ways since ‘they communicate their thoughts and ideas through practical action as well as through symbols (i.e., speech, writing, numbers, drawings).’ Thus, this further strengthens students understanding about the science information.

I am reviving back to this model because the content in this page is related to Science and Maths. Both are subjects where students have to make decisions and acquire concepts.Scientific Inquiry Model is a useful model especially in generating a meaningful and effective learning in the classroom. To me as a teachers yes it is very useful .
