Speaking in a well elaborated manner is not an easy task for form one students especially with poor language proficiency and vocabulary because they often encounter the difficulty to generate and express ideas in English. In a survey carried out by me many form one students found it difficult to speak and describe what they are trying to tell a as the students did face difficulty in since they encountered problems in elaborating their points in order to speak well.
In order to solve the problem I figured out a method called using Sticky notes or Self reflection to give students feedback as they speak or after they speak.
I would like to share the website where I found this idea as in using Sticky notes, creating them and how to use them for giving feedback to my students at the end of a speaking lesson. I have also included a complete pdf contain more various of ideas on giving feedback for a speaking class.
