Complicated Homonyms and Homophones.

Dear teachers i always find it confusing to teach this with students . Then one day I decided to use videos to teach my students and they understood it. Visual and video does help.

The video links that helped me are :

The video gives above↑ more details and examples

The video above ↑does introduce the definitions. It explains word by word what are these two elements as well as provides examples. It is an interactive video as it has tutorial together. It also enhances fun and creates an engaging environment for the learners. It also promotes self learning as students learn on they own in their own pace. The follow the direct teaching model.

Hence, videos takes the role  that of a transmitter of information. In this model all the teacher does is give instructions, lectures and demonstrates. The students’ role is being passive learners where they do not need to construct information but can use the information readily. The instructor role as in the videos is to set up the initial presentation, demonstration, case or reading material in such a way that the students can use the information readily.

There are plenty of online worksheets that teachers can get regarding homonym, homophones. It also come together with some word list that teachers can use to practice these with students.
