Besides, low proficiency level and weak vocabulary, another bigger problem in Descriptive writing faced by form one students is poor elaboration skills. To explain further, low level of proficiency and weak vocabulary knowledge can make students to lack the skill to generate ideas, form paragraphs and elaborate their points descriptively. .Firmansyah (2015) Form one students with weak language proficiency and vocabulary knowledge always end up having problem with their essay length. InPT3 students are expected to write at least 80-120 words and some students would submit empty paper or write less than 100or 50 words which eventually affects their writing scores. Even for intermediate level of proficiency form one students who are targeted to write longer well elaborated descriptive essay with a good vocabulary end up being unable to do so and they often repeat same words in their writing. Thus their Descriptive writing become extremely dull for the examiners.
