The main factor that determines my role as a language teacher is the classroom environment as it differs , depending on whether one teaches in boarding schools, government schools ,town or rural and private high schools where every school has its own classroom management.
Now my classroom environment has changed into an online classroom. Hence, as an English teacher ,classroom context would highly influence my choice of teaching because I have to consider my students background and level in organizing my teaching methods accordingly, to facilitate their understanding of a topic. This can sometimes seem to be very hard to do when your classroom is an online classroom.
Besides that, Malaysian schools practices ‘classroom authenticity’where the teaching is done based on textbooks and the shortage of materials in subjects especially materials in English causes difficulties for language teachers to plan their teaching activities in classes. The textbook materials mostly do not assist the teachers since the materials design does not always take account of the students and teachers level of expertise in a subject. Thus, teachers need help and it is not provided as the main source of knowledge is mostly insufficient which leads to teachers insufficiency in teaching. (Allen.2008.). Referring to the situation discussed above I as a teacher need to also find additional teaching materials to enhance my teaching with my students. I need to make their learning more productive.
Lastly is the choice of teaching methods and aims for future development in teaching profession. As a future language teacher I would practice the modern method CLIL by adapting it with the traditional approach known as PPP. I choose this kind of a inter-related teaching technique because in future it may develop the teaching profession to be more creative as in the use of multimedia (ICT) , allows to upgrade English language teaching to be more communicative and provides a good platform for teaching Literature as a more content orientated subject.
In conclusion, the best partner that I ask a teacher has is technology and when I started searching for materials online, I found a lot of materials which are easy to access as well as to download, print and use for my teaching lessons. I can also provides those materials to my students to enhance their own self learning.

References for the resources: These are all the official websites that teachers frequently use in their teaching and learning. Every websites addresses are copy into the google form to enable teachers to access them easily only under one google form. I have addressed all the websites links in my google form.I didnt just copy and paste . Those are the references for the resources we teachers use for our teaching.
