SWOT stands for Strength Weakness Objective Target

We can use Strength and Weakness to write Reflection

We can use Target to determine Content standard/Learning standard

We can also use Objective to write Learning/Lesson Objective

CONTENT STANDARD

Content standard is where we follow our DSKP CEFR. It explains What skills we want to teach ; Reading/Writing/Speaking/Listening or integrate

Target here refers to what Our pupils must achieve at the end of our lesson.

The content standard targets are GENERAL (NOT SPECIFIC)

We can divide our Target into 2:  Main target and Complimentary target.

Example : We plan to teach Reading Comprehension

Our Content standard is : Reading skills

Our main target : * Main usually refers to While lesson. So Reading skills ( What should pupils achieve after completing the while lesson)

Our complimentary target : * Complimentary usually refers to post lesson . So ( What should pupils achieve after completing the post lesson)

# Main target and Complimentary target can be the same or Differ if the skills are integrated. 


LEARNING STANDARD

Learning standard is where we follow our DSKP CEFR. It explains What we want our pupils to learn from our lesson.

Target here refers to What Our pupils must learn during of our lesson.

The learning standard targets are SPECIFIC (NOT GENERAL)

Example : We plan to teach Reading Comprehension

Our Learning standard is specific : Scanning skills 

Our main target : Main usually refers to While lesson. So (Pupils should learn on how to use scanning skills as they complete their reading comprehension exercises.)

Complimentary target can be the same or Differ if the skills are integrated.


LEARNING/LESSON OBJECTIVE

Learning objective refers to our lesson's aim. It explains What we want our pupils to do during our lesson.

Objective here refers to What Our pupils need to do during our lesson.

The learning objective must be SPECIFIC (NOT GENERAL) AND MEASURABLE

Example: We plan to teach Reading Comprehension

Our Content standard is : Reading skills

Our Learning standard is specific : Scanning skills

Our Learning objective is specific and measurable : Pupils should be able to complete the 10 reading comprehension questions using the scanning method.


REFLECTION

Reflection refers to the results gained from our lesson. It explains How many pupils managed to complete our exercises and How many pupils failed and need remedial.

Strength here refers to Number of pupils completed the given exercises.

Weakness here refers to Number of pupils failed to complete and need remedial.

The reflection must be SPECIFIC (NOT GENERAL) AND MEASURABLE 

Example: We plan to teach Reading Comprehension

Our Content standard is : Reading skills

Our Learning standard is specific : Scanning skills

Our Lesson objective is specific and measurable : Pupils should be able to complete the 10 reading comprehension questions using the scanning method.

Our Reflection is specific and measurable : 30 pupils completed (S) the 10 reading comprehension questions using the scanning method and 3 pupils failed (W) and need remedial.
