FOCUSING ON PAPER 1 LISTENING

  • 3 PARTS
  • Listen to 5 audios
  • Total 30 minutes
  • Total Questions 20


Types of questions

  • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
  • Short Answer Questions (3 words/ 5 words)
  • Part 1 8 questions (6 questions  fill in the blanks not more then 3 words  2 questions  MCQ)
  • Part 2 6 questions (4 questions MCQ 2 questions fill the blank/MCQ)
  • Part 3 6 questions (fill in the blanks not more then 5 words)


Tips to answer Listening Paper:

  • 1) Read all the questions and underline the keywords before  the audio starts playing
  • 2) Get the gist using the underlined keywords
  • 3) Be attentive to connectors and speakers tones
  • 4) Have knowledge of synonyms 
  • 5) Be aware of distractors
  • 6) Focus on behind information


FOCUSING ON PAPER 2 SPEAKING

  • 2 PARTS
  • Task A is Individual Presentation (2 minutes)
  • Task B Group Discussion (10minutes)

Preparation for TASK A

  • Given 2 minutes to prepare and 2 minutes to present your view on the given situation
  • One situation will have 4 points and each candidate will get 1 point to explain. Each candidate different point.

Preparation for TASK B

  • Group Discussion
  • Each candidate given 2 minutes to prepare and all candidates need to speak and discuss for 10 minutes.
  • Same situation in Task A and candidates need to discuss all the given options and choose the best option!.

  • -learn turn-taking expressions

-Matching information-skim the paragraph identify main idea and match the suitable elaboration
