CEFR TEXTBOOK BASED LESSON PLAN GUIDES FORM 1-FORM 5

Non-Directive Teaching assumes students are willing to be responsible for their own learning; depends on instructor and students willingness to open in their communication’. Hence, the teaching resources can be used to create an ‘Open Classroom’ whereby the teaching resources can assist free communication , groups works, students personal growth, students self-evaluation and self-concept.

 The Non- Directive Teaching model has a lot of benefits in generating meaningful and effective learning in the classroom.  Firstly, teachers assist, encourages and guides students in exploring new ideas, knowledge, information, subject and content, Secondly, teacher and students are assumed as partners in learning without any empowerment from teachers over students. In such circumstances, students are given ample space or freedom to make decisions and choices. Lastly, teachers as facilitators, guiders, resource person and advisors nurture, mould and encourages learners to think , reflect and become better and positive individuals. 

The Synectics Model is a useful model especially in generating a meaningful and effective learning in the classroom.

The above model is something which I always try to integrate into planing my teaching lesson or even designing my materials and worksheets. However I came across a model call Callan Lesson.
